Having your first child is incredibly exciting, but it can also be overwhelming! If you're anything like me, you want everything to be perfect and to prepare as much as possible because you have no idea what to expect. I spent countless hours researching what I actually needed, what I could skip, and what would truly make life easier as a first-time mom.

Every time I asked friends and family for recommendations, I was met with plenty of "YOU NEED THIS!" advice and often conflicting opinions. Once I had my own baby, my perspective changed quite a bit. Every product on this list is something I've personally used and loved, and many have become part of our daily routine since welcoming my daughter, Avery, in March.

While some of these items are more "nice-to-haves" than necessities, they've been absolute lifesavers for our family. I genuinely love every product included here and wouldn't recommend anything I don't personally believe in.
